About the Owner of Mormon Encounters

Mormon Encounters is operated and managed by Carlos Alemán, a former missionary who is a professional tour guide specialized in Maya culture, trained in history, archaeology, anthropology, and the culture of Mexico. He is certified by the Mexican tourism authorities. He has led many LDS people through the passages of the Book of Mormon and the Maya cities. You can find some of the experiences in his records of visits; however, each tour is for him a new experience and chance to give his best and share his faith, testimony, and the history of his first fathers. The goal is to increase the faith of your family and friends who visit these lands. At Mormon Encounter, we are focused on exceeding the expectations of visitors.
