LEMUEL PETLACALCO LEHMANN

Lemuel was born in the outskirts of Mexico City in 1971.  His father, Luis Silverio Petlacalco Martinez, was of Aztec ancestry and served as a tour guide in Teotihuacan,Tulum, Chichen Itza and Uxmal for both members and non-members of the Mormon Church.

His mother, Luz Estela Lehmann, is the descendent of Germans and Mayas from the current state of Chiapas, Mexico.

During his training as a federal tourism guide, Lemuel studied Mexican history,prehispanic an contemporary Mexican art, Archeology, Arqueo-Astronomy and Anthropology.

Having more than 20 years’ experience as a tourist guide in Mexico, he has concentrated his knowledge in most of the archeological zones located in Yucatan state.  He leads tours originating in Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and the Riviera Maya, and which go on to
explore Chichen Itza, Ek Balam, Tulum, Coba, Dzibanche, Kinich Na, Chacchoben, Uxmal, Kabah, Sayil, Labna, or Palenque, among many other important archeological sites.

Lemuel has a solid  testimony of the gospel, and loves our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ very much.  He has fully and faithfully served alongside his family as Bishop of the Kohunlich Ward and currently serves as Stake President of the Cancun and Kabah District, Mexico.
Lemuel has always worked hard to serve his fellow man, beginning with the members of his family.  He loves and studies the Book of Mormon, which has led him to share his archeological vision with numerous Church authorities.
